Yusri is a passionate educator and researcher. He has worked as a program analyst in Yayasan Indonesia Mengabdi (YIM) since 2017. YIM is a non-governmental organization focusing on designing and implementing child protection and education programmes. In 2015, together with his colleagues, he founded a storytelling community service organization called “AksiKita” (focusing on sharing positive values with children by using storytelling methods).

Sam is a passionate environmentalist working with Seasoldier Sulawesi Utara, who is interested in youth and environmental issues, especially coastal and marine ecosystems.

He holds a master's degree in aquatic science within the International Indo-Pacific Coral Reefs Biodiversity and Conservation Masters Programme. Currently, he acts as Chair of North Sulawesi Maritime Youth (Maritim Muda Sulawesi Utara) and is a Lecturer and Marine Science Study Programme Head at Esa Trinita Science and Technology Institute.

Mariana Y.H. Opat actively campaigns on issues concerning comprehensive sexuality education, feminism, gender-based violence and other women's issues. In 2016, Tata formed the Tenggara Youth Community to educate children and adolescents in the PMSEU (poor, marginal, socially excluded & underserved) category related to sexual and reproductive health rights. Tenggara works in the East Nusa Tenggara region.

Elsye is a passionate educator and has been working for KEWITA Learning Initiatives as a tutor and organiser since 2019 producing creative and interesting material for young women and girls. Her action project focuses on literacy for Indigenous Papuan elementary school students. Elsye is passionate about building capacities within her organisation and communities in Papua. She has interests related to Indigenous communities and the implementation of literacy programmes, and has visited schools in Aotearoa to see literacy programmes in action.

Engel is an active environmentalist with the EcoNusa Foundation in Ambon, Maluku and campaigns on issues around the climate crisis. Through Mitra Muda UNICEF, she is a speaker for Youth for the SDGs Summit 2022, and was chosen to represent UNICEF Indonesia in the Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction. Engel’s action project is on coral reef preservation, specifically the need to revitalize coral reefs in the Hulaliu village coastal area.

Particular interests: Coastal management, Māori and Indigenous knowledge

Linda Tagie is the founder of Lowewini, a volunteer-led community organisation that uses education and cultural arts to promote social equality and create safe spaces for women and children who are victims of violence. Linda is also an indigenous Sabunese woman. She actively conducts research and writes about indigenous women on the island of Hawu, East Nusa Tenggara.

Ela is passionate about education and social issues. Since 2016, she has worked for NGOs who collaborate with IOM in Makassar to provide education to Unaccompanied Migrant Children (UMC) programmes, and currently volunteers with Lembaga Studi Kebijakan Publik (LSKP). She has been actively involved in developing informal education programmes for refugees in Makassar. Her action project relates to empowerment of women refugees.
