Agusta Melani Sorabut

Melan works for Elsham Papua in the Women’s division of this human rights organisation. Melan’s focus is on violence against women and women’s rights. Her interests are in NGO training programmes to strengthen women’s capacity to work on human rights and women’s rights in their communities. Her action project is on women farmers in Sentosa village in Jayapura who struggle to sell their crops due to marginalization, transport, and location.
